I currently freelance from my home in Hillsboro, Illinois. I take pride in being honest and I like to help people. I like to think of myself as easy to get along with, and I enjoy hanging out with my daughter, building websites, traveling, playing pool, and socializing with my friends the most.

Illinois Central College: 1998 Earned 18 credit hours towards a degree in Business Management with a 3.7 G.P.A..
Certifications: Through self study and online testing in 2003, I earned job role certifications in Business Management and Recruiting, as well as individual certificates in Web Design Concepts. HTML, Editing, Advertising Concepts, and Internet Research.
In 1999, I decided that I wanted to have a website of my own. I started out using a free online website builder called Yahoo Geocities. I quickly realized that website builders had their limitations. To build a website exactly the way I wanted it, I would have to learn a few programming languages and some kind of image editing software. So, using various online tutorials, I began learning HTML and Adobe Photoshop in my spare time.
I then began studying a new programming language called XHTML, a combination of programming languages such as HTML, CSS, and Javascript. Once I had a solid grasp of XHTML, I was able to create a website exactly the way I wanted it. Without any products or services of my own to sell, I tried to make some money promoting affiliate programs on my website.
I soon found out that getting people to visit my website was not an easy task. Without any money to pay to advertise my website, I had to figure out how to get people to visit my site for free. In 2001, I began studying and implementing SEO (search engine optimization). When I finally got my website listed on the first page of the search engine results and started getting website visitors, I found that affiliate programs don't yield much money. So, then I decided to use what I had learned to help established businesses advertise their products and services online, and I have been freelancing ever since.
